Long stays in Capo d'Orlando: weeks and months
Not everyone who sleeps here is on holiday. People supporting a relative in hospital, people working away, people who need to stay for weeks: two apartments with kitchens, in the centre, with weekly and monthly rates from October to May.

Who stays long, and why
Accommodation always talks about holidays. But some of the people looking for somewhere to stay in Capo d'Orlando are not on holiday: they are supporting a relative in hospital at Sant'Agata di Militello or Patti, working away, following a building site, dealing with paperwork, or have just moved and are house-hunting. For them a hotel room doesn't work: they need a kitchen, space to be in, and a price that holds up over weeks.
What we offer
The two holiday homes of Home del Corso, around 70 m² each, on the top floor of a building with a lift, in the centre of Capo d'Orlando. Equipped kitchen, washing machine, separate bedroom, bathroom, Wi-Fi, air conditioning. They are independent units: you come and go on your own schedule, with no hotel service and nobody passing by each morning. The Casa del Corso holiday homes →
Why location matters more than usual
People staying a long time don't want to take the car every time. From here, on foot: supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, the post office, bars, restaurants, the seafront, and the railway station on the Messina-Palermo line. The hospital at Sant'Agata di Militello is about twenty minutes west by car, the one at Patti a little more to the east. In practice you live without depending on a car, and use it only when you actually need it. Useful numbers and health services →
From October to May
This is the period when the arrangement makes sense for everyone: outside the summer months rates drop considerably, and the town is a calm place to be — the winter sea, the market, Orlandina basketball on Sunday afternoons. In summer the apartments return to short holiday lets.
How it works
Weekly and monthly rates, agreed according to length and season: the longer you stay, the less each night costs. Utilities, cleaning and linen changes are defined together depending on the arrangement. There's no form to fill in: we talk — we're a family, not a chain. Message us on WhatsApp or call +39 392 800 8005, telling us how many of you there are, from when and for how long — and we'll make you a proposal.
If the reason is a hospital stay
We write this because it has happened more than once. People who come to support someone need simple things: to come in at any hour, a kitchen so they aren't eating out every day, the option to extend without starting over, and not to be next door to a holiday party. Tell us, and we'll arrange accordingly: we also know where to park near the hospitals and how visiting hours work.

What to do in Capo d'Orlando when it rains
Two rainy days in July, ten in December. But the day it happens only ruins a holiday for people who don't know where to go: the museums, the villages, the waterfall that rain makes better, and why the sea stays cloudy after it stops.
Brolo: the castle, the beach and the landing of 1943
Ten minutes east of Capo d'Orlando: a tenth-century castle on a spur of rock, a dark-sand beach sheltered from the north wind, and the night of 11 August 1943, when six hundred and fifty Americans landed here at three in the morning.
Piraino: the Guardiola and the Saracen Tower
Twenty minutes of hairpins above Capo d'Orlando brings you to a white balcony hanging over the sea, with the coast from Capo d'Orlando to Milazzo in view and the Aeolians close enough to touch. Above it, an Arab tower from the 10th century.
