The kitchen that disappears
It's the first thing you notice, and only when it's open: the kitchen sits inside a recess closed by folding doors that slide away. Open, everything is there — oven, hob, fridge, sink, shelves with plates, glasses, pans and the coffee machine. Closed, the wall goes flat again and the room stops looking like a kitchen. For a week's stay that's the difference between a studio and a home.
The floor, and why it isn't a rug
The floor is taupe resin, continuous and without joints, and set flush into it are panels of Sicilian majolica: one under the bed, one under the sofa. They look like rugs and aren't — they don't shift, they don't roll up, and they are the only decorative element in an otherwise white flat. It's a nod to the cement tiles of the old buildings on the corso, redone in a new apartment.
How you sleep, and how many
The double bed has a spindled walnut headboard and sits in the area screened by the wardrobe wall. In the living room the sofa bed opens for two more: four people, sharing one bathroom. There's air conditioning, a television and a rocking chair that somebody always ends up in.
The bathroom
Modern and dry: a walk-in shower lined in marble behind fixed glass, wall-mounted matt black taps, a vessel basin on an open oak vanity with the towels in view, bidet and wall-hung fittings. A full-width mirror in a wooden frame.
Where it is

Does the Arancio apartment have a kitchen?
Yes, fully equipped: oven, hob, fridge, sink, crockery and a coffee machine. It sits inside a recess closed by folding doors, so when you don't need it the wall goes flat again. That's the main difference from the B&B rooms, where the kitchen is shared.
How many people sleep in the Arancio apartment?
Up to four: a double bed in the sleeping area and a sofa bed in the living room, with one bathroom. For four people who want two real rooms and breakfast included, the alternative is the B&B's Green Room, the quad.
Is breakfast included in the apartments?
No: the apartments have no breakfast service. The kitchen is fully equipped and it is yours, so mornings are your own. Breakfast included applies to the B&B del Corso rooms, on the same floor: if you want it served, that is where you book. For longer stays, write to us on WhatsApp.

- Two days cover the town, but leave out the Nebrodi — the half nobody expects. If you're staying an extra night, ask us when you book: we do a different price for guests who book here.
The reason is simple: when you book here there is nobody in between. What we save on intermediation comes back to you as rate and as freedom to move — a late arrival, an extra night, a last-minute request.
