The beaches of Alicudi
On Alicudi there are two or three beaches, pebbled, reached on foot along stairways or by sea. It's the island where a swim is the reward for a walk.
The northern cove
The cove on the north side, reachable by a path from the village or by boat. Pebbles, deep water and almost nobody, even in August.
The harbour
In front of the landing is the island's most convenient beach, the only one you reach without climbing steps. Not the prettiest, but the one people use.
No services
No lidos, no rentals, no shade. You carry everything: water, a towel, reef shoes, something to eat.
One tip
The sea here is among the clearest in the Aeolians precisely because nobody comes. But check the last boat out before you get in the water: departures are few.
Bazzina
Pebbles · Total isolation
Reached on foot by trail or by sea: a handful of houses, the sea, and nothing else.
Stay in Capo d'Orlando
A base in the centre — and everything else becomes a day trip.
The port for the Aeolians is 45 minutes away, the Nebrodi right behind. Breakfast served early for dawn departures.
